For kids, it’s all about presents and they are dying to know what you got them. It will be a surprise for them if you allow them to open one present on Christmas Eve.

Decorate the Rooms

Instead of keeping Christmas decorations limited to the living or dining rooms, spread it out into the halls and sleeping rooms. Put up crafted decorations or little golden Christmas ornaments around the house to make it look merry. Involve your kids in making handcrafts and hanging them around the house to keep them involved and enjoy the Christmas spirit.

Start a Christmas Countdown

Start a ten or twelve day Christmas countdown and make a handcrafted special calendar for the purpose. Ask everyone to share a daily Christmas story that they like by writing it down on a paper and reading all the stories together as a family at night. Not only, will it involve all family members but incorporate the Christmas spirit in everyone as they sit together, counting down the days left for Christmas.

Run a Christmas Movie Marathon at Your Home

Christmas movies are wonderful to watch as a group and enhance the Christmas spirit. Invite friends and family over for a Christmas movie marathon and stock up on snacks. Make your Christmas Eve a memorable night with laughter, fun, and movies!
